Los Angeles International Airport

Los Angeles International Airport is California’s largest airport and is the 4th busiest airport in the world. It is owned and maintained by the Los Angeles World Airports and the airport serves as the major hub for American Airlines, US Airways Express, Delta Airlines and Alaska Airlines. In 2012 the airport served over 60 million passengers efficiently. The airport has 9 terminals that are named as Terminals 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and the Tom Bradley International Terminal. These terminals are architecturally surpassing and are placed in the form of a U shape. A free shuttle connects all nine terminals throughout the day. The Tom Bradley Terminal accommodates the operations of the Airbus A380.

Taxis and private coach services can be availed from the central terminal area throughout the day. Bus services run from all terminals and lets you travel up to Westside through downtown Los Angeles. A special shuttle service called the G Shuttle bus connects all terminals of the airport to Los Angeles Metro Rail Green Line station. Trains from the station start as early as 5 in the morning up to late after midnight.

All terminals of the airport except Terminals 1 and 8 have luxurious lounges that offer a wide range of complimentary drinks and snacks. Lounges are very popular among business travellers and allow enough space for conferences and meetings. It is a great place to unwind after a long haul flight. All terminals of the airport are more advanced than most airport terminals in terms of service, safety and logistics. Cash machines, payphones, currency exchange desks, restrooms, infant rooms and prayer halls make travelling much easier through the Los Angeles International Airport. Appropriate settings are available for the disabled passengers using the toilets, lifts and parking areas at the airport. Specialist vehicles take disabled passengers up to the aircraft.
