Terminals

London Gatwick Airport has 2 terminals: North and South and 2 runways. South Terminal is the older terminal of London Gatwick Airport and commenced its operations in 1958. North terminal was opened for operations in 1988. South terminal is busier than the North terminal.

Gatwick Airport Airlines and Destinations

Gatwick Airport operates services to about 60 airlines operating fleets to destinations worldwide. The airport serves as hub for Aer Lingus, British airways, Virgin Atlantic, Flybe, EasyJet and many Charter Airlines: Thomas Cook Airlines, Thomson Airways and Monarch Airlines.

Gatwick Airport offers different parking options.

Short Stay Parking

Short stay car parks are located at the terminals. For parking vehicles at a longer period, the short stay car park offers another option which is ‘short stay special’.

Long Stay Parking

South Terminal - has two options including Long Stay South Terminal and London Stay Plus Gatwick. Long Stay South Terminal car park is located adjacent to the terminal and courtesy coach transfer services operate 24/7 with journey time of 5 minutes. London Stay Plus Gatwick car park is located close to the terminal and is open from April to October.
North Terminal - has two options including Gatwick Summer Special Parking and Long Stay North Terminal. Summer Special parking is located just off the North Terminal roundabout and coach transfers are available for every 10 - 20 minutes with journey time of minutes. Long Stay North Terminal car park is located a mile away from the terminal and coach transfers operate for every 10 minutes with travel time of 5 minutes.

Valet Parking

South Terminal - drop-off point is on level two of the RED short stay car park and pick up your car at the reception.
North Terminal - drop-off point is level 3 of short stay car park 5 and pick up your car from the same place.

Commuter Parking

Commuter parking area is located in the South Terminal and people who are close by can park their vehicles and the charges are monthly, quarterly or yearly.

Evening Parking

People who are close by the airport can park their cars anytime between 17.00 and 02.00 in the South Terminal short stay car park.

Hotels

London Gatwick Airport has 3 airport hotels and a number of hotels within the close proximity of the airport. London Gatwick Hilton hotel is located in the South Terminal and 2 hotels namely the Le Meridien London Gatwick hotel and the Premier Travel Inn are located in the North terminal. Hotel reservation desks are available at the arrivals of both the terminals.

Shops and Restaurants
Gatwick Airport has 39 shops and stores where you can shop beauty and perfume, books and magazines, food and wine, technology and entertainment, duty free, fashion and accessories, bureaux de change, children and travel essentials and souvenirs. Boots, Fisher Price, Hamleys, Marks and Spencer, WHSmith and World Duty Free Arrivals Store are some of the best shops to name a few.

A number of world class restaurants, bars and food outlets are located in both the terminals including Costa, McDonalds, Brasserie Chez Gerard, Shake-a-Hula, Starbucks, Apostrophe and Marks & Spencer.

Lounges

South Terminal - No.1 Traveller and Servisair lounges are available in the terminal featuring a bar, spa, comfortable seating areas, communication and entertainment options.
North Terminal - No.1 Traveller and Servisair lounges are available in the terminal featuring a bar, spa, comfortable seating areas, communication and entertainment options. Airline lounges are offered by British Airways, Emirates and Delta Airlines.

Business Services

Business travellers can enjoy all sorts of business services at Gatwick airport. Airport hotels have conference rooms for holding business meetings and have access to all business facilities with full support. Access to executive lounges and Fast Track car park gives additional comfort and saves time.
