Bristol Airport Guide

Bristol Airport is an international airport in North Somerset and is around 8.1 miles southwest of Bristol. It is one of the busiest airports in the United Kingdom and handles a high number of passengers. This airport’s terminal holds a range of facilities and the runway is well suited.

Terminal:

Bristol Airport’s terminal has two floors and a mezzanine floor.

Ground Floor:

Cash dispensers, currency exchanges, cafes, pay phones, restrooms, postal services, an information desk, a taxi desk and four car hire companies are available on the ground floor.

First Floor:

Cash exchanges, cafes, restaurants, a wide range of shops selling gifts and accessories, books and magazines, duty and tax free shops, game zones, toilets, facilities for disabled and much more are available on the first floor.

Mezzanine Floor:

Servisair and British Airways’ executive lounges are available on the mezzanine floor. Restaurants, bars, smoke areas, restroom and lots more are a part of this floor.

Lounges:

The Servisair’s business lounge is located on the Mezzanine level, through security control and holds a range of facilities such as fax, internet, television, telephones, a credit card phone, complimentary drinks and newspapers. Children below 12 years are not allowed in this area and it is a non smoking lounge.

Timing

5am -8:30pm from Sunday to Friday

5am – 6pm on Saturday

Cost: £16.00 for three hours

The British Airways’ lounge is also available on the mezzanine floor and has all facilities. It is a good place to relax and refresh with a drink and a snack before your flight. You can enter this lounge only with the BA’s gold and silver cards, flights with club Europe tickets and the sapphire and emerald cards of the OneWorld.

Timing:

5:30am to 8:30pm from Monday to Friday

5am to 6pm on Saturday

8am to 8:30pm on Sunday

This terminal has facilities for travellers with children and those with special needs. Low level telephones, lifts to upper levels, wheelchair access, special assistance restrooms for passengers with special needs and arcade areas with video games, children’s rides, baby care facilities and lots more for children are available throughout the terminal. A wide range of cafes, restaurants, bars and pubs including Starbucks, Caffe Ritazza, Burger King, and Bar Zero are available at the Bristol International Airport’s terminal.
